  • Poses. Yoga poses, also called postures or asana, are a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility. Poses range from simple to difficult.

  • Breathing. Controlling your breathing is an important part of yoga. Yoga teaches that controlling your breathing can help you control your body and quiet your mind.

  • Meditation or relaxation. In yoga, you may incorporate meditation or relaxation. Meditation may help you learn to be more mindful and aware of the present moment without judgment.

Classes vary in length, from 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.

03

Although there is a class specifically geared to be gentle, people can join any class if a day/time suits better, as you can adapt the poses to suit yourself.

Beginners and new members are always welcome!
