When some people think of yoga, they imagine having to stretch like a gymnast. That makes them worry that they're too old, unfit, or "tight" to do yoga. The truth is you're never too old to improve flexibility.

What do I need to bring to class?

Bring a Yoga mat , if you have one, otherwise I have spare mats that you can borrow until you get your own. In the summer, you might need to bring a drink. Some people like to bring a towel. Some people bring a blanket for the relaxation at the end. If you want to adapt poses you may like to also bring a block.

What should I wear?

Wear clothes you can comfortably move and stretch in.

How often should I practice to get the best results?

As the benefits of Yoga are cumulative, we would recommend you practice twice a week. However if you can only manage one day per week the benefits to your health and well-being are still many and varied.

What if I'm not flexible enough? 

One of the most common Yoga myths is that you need to be flexible before you even set foot on a mat.. The truth is, Yoga will actually help you gain flexibility.
